A maioria dos professores usam a internet e aproveitam a rede em atividades com os alunos, constatou a pesquisa TIC Educação divulgada hoje (29). Segundo o estudo, 100% dos docentes de escolas particulares e 98% dos que lecionam na rede pública são usuários da internet. Desses, 73% trabalham com o ambiente virtual em suas aulas. São diversas formas de aproveitamento: aulas expositivas (52%), trabalhos sobre temas específicos (59%) e solução de dúvidas individuais (45%).

A diferença mais marcante entre o uso da rede em escolas privadas e públicas é em relação a presença da internet na sala de aula. Nas instituições particulares, 50% dos professores usam o ambiente virtual com os estudantes na própria sala de aula e 29% em laboratórios de informática. Nos estabelecimentos de ensino estaduais e municipais, o número de docentes que usa a internet na sala de aula cai para 23% e o dos que aproveitam as ferramentas da rede em laboratórios de informática fica em 35%.

Entre os estudantes, 75% dos matriculados em escolas públicas usam internet no celular, contra 87% nos estabelecimentos privados – média de 78%. Entre os professores, 92% dos que lecionam em instituições particulares acessam a rede no telefone móvel, percentual que fica em 82% dos que trabalham na rede pública – média de 85% dos docentes.

A internet no celular é usada por 39% dos professores em atividades com os alunos. Nas escolas particulares esse número chega a 46% e nas públicas fica em 36%. O índice é maior nas classes do 2º ano do ensino médio (42%) e menor nas séries menos avançadas: 35% nos 4º e 5º anos do ensino fundamental e 38% nos 8º e 9º anos.

Wi-fi

Quanto à disponibilidade de acesso à internet, 94% das escolas privadas e 84% das públicas têm redes sem fio. No entanto, a maioria dos alunos não tem acesso à senha da rede wi-fi. Em apenas 16% das escolas particulares o acesso é livre para todos, percentual que fica em 6% nos estabelecimentos estaduais e municipais. Em apenas 19% das instituições privadas os alunos podem acessar a rede sem fio com uma senha – 16% nas escolas públicas. Em 58% das escolas particulares e em 62% das públicas a internet wi-fi é fechada para os estudantes.

A pesquisa foi realizada pelo Comitê Gestor da Internet no Brasil (CGI.br), através do Centro Regional de Estudos para o Desenvolvimento da Sociedade da Informação (Cetic.br) e do Núcleo de Informação e Coordenação do Ponto BR (NIC.br). Foram entrevistados 898 diretores de escolas, 861 coordenadores pedagógicos, 1,63 mil professores e 9,21 mil alunos entre setembro e dezembro de 2015. O estudo envolveu 898 escolas.
